Community Connections
Each year Eaglehawk Primary School honours past student William John Symons at either our Remembrance Day or ANZAC day services, announcing our annual William John Symonds memorial recipient. William John Symonds was a student at Eaglehawk Primary School who went to war and received the Victoria Cross medal. In addition to our school service, our class captains Tarnika and Samuel laid a wreath on behalf of the school at Eaglehawk cenotaph at 11am. The school met Raye Fleahy there, who had kindly donated this year’s wreath on behalf of her family.
