We are extremely fortunate that we have had a new well-being support program begin during Term 3 at California Gully PS. We have introduced the ‘Dogs Connect’ Program into California Gully PS in small steps to students, staff and families to build understandings, values and processes to support our community. The Dogs Connect Program is working directly with our school community towards bringing a dog into the culture of learning and teaching at CGPS, with a clear focus on student wellbeing and connectedness. Our 3 month old Australian Cobberdog ‘Milli’ now attends school four days a week and is enjoying spending time in classrooms, on yard duty and chilling out in the office.
