Canterbury Park
The lighting in Canterbury Park, including a new scoreboard and shelter will be officially opened on the 10th of April. The oval now boasts 300LUX LED lighting suitable for cricket and AFL competition, a digital LED scoreboard and a new shelter. This venture was jointly funded between the City of Greater Bendigo, the Victorian Government and The Eaglehawk
Development Group.
Reoiling of Timbers
The historic Canterbury Gardens Project has been completed by the Working for Victoria team. The project focused on reoiling the timber on park benches and furniture located within the Gardens. The next stage will involve furniture at the Eaglehawk Playspace.
Truscott Reserve
Removal of the former change rooms/toilets and creation of new storage space. This project was driven by the City of Greater Bendigo Toilet Strategy.
Eaglehawk Town Hall
The Town Hall’s heating and ventilation has been upgraded. Additional ductwork to support the heating and ventilation system has been installed for the additional air handling unit and we are awaiting the delivery of a fan motor to enable completion of the installation.
Eaglehawk Badminton
The amenities renewal project is underway and includes new toilets, basins, partitions, taps  floor coverings, plaster and painting. A new Bifold door and walls  will also be installed to the foyer area which will provide a tournament office space when required. Internal Painting to the foyer office and reception areas will also be undertaken.
