Bailey Knight has over 30 animals at his home. One of the most exotic ones is what is called a Padamelon.
What is a padamelon?
A pademelon is a small version of a Kangaroo from Tasmania.
The Scientific name is: Thylogale.
What do they eat? They mainly feed on herbs and grasses, they will eat as much as 50kg of feed!
How big do they grow? They are small and only grow to 57 cm.
‘I have had my padamelon for 3 ½ years and her name is Jessie. She is friendly and likes it a lot when you scratch her stomach.’
