Grandparents and Special friends day
Each year, St Liborius Primary School has held a Grandparents (Special family friends) day where we invite families to come in and experience our school in action.
As we well know, schools have changed dramatically over the past 50 years both physically and in teaching pedagogy. St Liborius is no exception to this, with our physical environments being brand new and our Walker Learning Approach being the core of our philosophy.
Grandparents are often blown away with what they see, as it is world away from what school was like for them as children.
It’s amazing to witness the engagement and the excitement of both adult and child during our morning of learning, prayer and a communal morning tea.
