2019 Eaglehawk Dahlia and Arts Festival – The Lola Miller Student Film Competition

If you were a Year 10, 11 or 12 student in 2018, simply enter a short film and you could win $250 and have your film shown at the Opening of the Eaglehawk Dahlia and Arts Festival on Wednesday 13th March 2019 at the Star Cinema.

Criteria:

1. Open to 2018 year 10, year 11 and 12 students at Bendigo Schools.

2. The film is to be 5 minutes or less in length and to be in mp4 format.

3. The theme for the films is open but preference will be given to those featuring the Festival theme “We are One”.

4. Copyright. Students should create either original soundtracks or source free ones.

5. A maximum of 4 films will be chosen from the entries and the students of these films will each receive $250. (ie. 4 awards of $250)

6. The film must be of a PG classification and Open Genre and should not contain violence.

7. Closing date for submission 4 pm Friday 1st March 2019 to Laurie Preston, Eaglehawk Dahlia and Arts Festival, PO Box 21, Eaglehawk 3556 (Memory sticks will be returned)

8. Films to be shown at the Eaglehawk Dahlia and Arts Festival Opening on Wednesday 13th March 2019, 6:30 pm at Star Cinema, Eaglehawk. The prize for each student will be presented at this time.
