Everyday all over Eaglehawk and surrounds people are achieving great things and here at 3556 we’d like to recognise that. If you know of someone doing amazing things in some aspect of their life – school, sport, special interests etc – we’d love to hear all about it and share the news with our community:

Last weekend, 12 students from ESC travelleded to Melbourne to compete in the State Finals of the Indonesian speaking competition. Adam Lumsden Hill placed 3rd in the Year 8 division – a great effort considering there were over 50 finalists in his section. He has been invited to attend a presentation evening in Melbourne on the 22nd June. Well done Adam!

Eaglehawk IGA and ESC staff member Michael Watson has won a major arts award in Bendigo. Raw Arts recoginises young talent in the Bendigo region and Michael was the winner of the Visual Arts Award for his painting of a friend. Top effort Michael!

Eaglehawk’s Jordan Hynes (year 9 at ESC) has been selected into the Flying Boomerangs Squad.
Victoria’s best Under 15 male Indigenous and Multicultural players have been selected for the AFL’s 2018 Rio Tinto Flying Boomerangs and World Team representative squads. Congratulations Jordan!
