California Gully Primary School prides itself on providing a challenging yet individualised Curriculum Program for all students with a strong teaching focus on well-being, literacy and numeracy.

Providing our students with a variety of learning experiences is something that is extensively planned and implemented successfully every term.

During Term 2 students were provided with a number of extra-curricular learning experiences. With the combined theme of ‘Transport and History’ our excited Foundation, Grade 1 and 2 classes enjoyed a day in Echuca. A trip on a Paddle Steamer, Horse and Cart, and the opportunity to explore the ‘Old Port’ precinct provided the perfect support to authentic learning for our junior classes.

Our Senior School recently visited the Immigration Museum and Parliament House ae part of the Integrated ‘Australian History’ theme. This experience ensured deeper learning was evident for all children in the senior school.

The Kitchen Garden program now well and truly embedded into our school program is a huge hit with the students teaching them life skills, and the value of a healthy diet. Our vegetable garden is in great shape and producing an abundance of vegetables for our cooking program.
California Gully Primary School will provide every child with an education that will set them up for future successes at Secondary School and provide them with the social skills to become productive members of society.

Enrolments for 2019 Prep students are being taken now. For enquiries please contact the school on 54468393.
