Firstly, throughout the year enrolments grew so much that another class was created at the start of term 3!

In term 3, our building works project commenced. This has included a completely new pantry in our Stephanie Alexander kitchen, and a completely renovated art room.

Our fondly known ‘church’ is undergoing a major transformation that will be completed by June 2018. As well the playground will have an undercover netball/ basketball court and mini half court skills area with new plexipave, and a new artificial turf oval with a running track, jump pit and footy/soccer goals. This is only the beginning!

As part of the Performing Arts and Physical Education curriculum, students have participated in two additional programs lead by two amazingly, talented performers – Choir with local musical identity Skip, and Circus with performer Phil Melgaard.

Each week students in grades 3-6 have the opportunity to participate in the school choir, led by Skip.

They have been learning breathing techniques and new songs to perform at special events. These included a flash mob at Bendigo Market Place and performing at the Eaglehawk Children’s Festival.

Our students have some upcoming performances at Eaglehawk’s Canterbury Park Carols on Sunday December 10th and the school’s end of year concert on Friday December 15th, at Eaglehawk Secondary College.
