On Thursday the 30th of November, we held our Appreciation Evening. This is an event that is held annually at the school, where we come together as a school community to celebrate the learning and appreciate everyone’s efforts for the year.

On the night, families, staff and the parish met on our school oval and had a communal picnic.

Kelly Sports came along and worked with our Grade 6 sports captains to run fun activities for the children and toddlers, while the adults ate and socialised.

After dinner, we had our annual ‘Movember’ shave. Donations were collected and the staff who participated in the event for the month finally got the chance to shave. It is a great cause, with funds going directly toward issues related to men’s health and the Movember Foundation.

At 7pm, Fr. Rob Galea, who is an ordained Catholic Priest and a very talented singer and songwriter, spoke and sang some songs in our stadium.

This was a fantastic event that we look forward to each year and that continues to grow.

Well done everyone on another successful and enjoyable school year.
