Welcome to California Gully Primary School, 2019. As a community we have had a
wonderful start to the year. We take great pride in our school community, providing a
challenging yet individualised curriculum program for all students with a strong teaching
focus on well-being, literacy and numeracy, not to mention the wonderful Specialist Program.
We have introduced a Music program into the school this year. It has provided an opportunity
to explore a range of music and cultures that is enjoyed by all. This connects beautifully to
our LOTE program of Chinese, exploring culture and language. Weekly Library sessions
support literacy initiatives, exploring a huge range of text and stories.
California Gully Primary School is looking forward to another very positive year, providing
every child with an education that will set them up for future successes at secondary school
and provide them with the social skills to become productive members of local and broader
community.
